Paramount Airways Private Limited is located over at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. Our spot is right in the middle of all the airport action, zip code 501218. It’s a long drive out from the main city of Hyderabad, but that is where the planes are. The office stays busy because of the constant flow of people and luggage. You can hear the engines outside quite a bit. It’s a practical place to work since we need to be close to the runways and the terminal. Most of our day is spent dealing with logistics and making sure everything is moving on time. It’s not the kind of office where you sit quietly all day. There is always someone coming in with a flight schedule or a question about a route. We have some desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the paperwork that comes with running an airline. The coffee machine in the breakroom is probably the most used thing in the office. It’s a tough environment sometimes with the odd hours, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big front desk for visitors, it’s more of a workspace for the crew and staff to get things done. Being based at the airport means we follow the rhythm of the flights. When it’s busy out on the tarmac, it’s busy in here too. That’s just the way life is at Shamshabad.
