About On My Own – Tourism in Hyderabad/ Secunderabad
I spend my time moving between Hyderabad and the NCR region. It is a bit of a split life, honestly. Sometimes I am in the heat of the south and other times I am dealing with the smog or the cold of North India. Because I work on my own, I do not have a fixed office building with a sign on the door. I mostly work from home setups or small shared spaces where I can plug in my laptop. It is a lot of traveling back and forth. My bags are usually half-packed most of the time. When I am in Hyderabad, I miss the food in Delhi, and when I am in NCR, I miss the pace of life in Hyderabad. It is a strange way to live, but I have gotten used to it over the years. I do not have a boss breathing down my neck, but that just means I have to be my own boss, which is sometimes harder. I spend a lot of time in transit, either on flights or trains, catching up on messages and trying to stay organized. My office is basically wherever I can find a decent internet connection and a place to sit. It is a simple existence without much overhead, but it requires a lot of self-discipline to keep things moving. I like the variety of people I meet in both places. It keeps things from getting too boring.
