Omega Travels

We are over at 1-1-271/5, Santhoshi Nivas, specifically on Street No:1 in Chikkadpally. Hyderabad can be a loud city, and Chikkadpally is definitely part of that noise. Santhoshi Nivas is where we’ve set up our small travel office. It’s not very big, just a few rooms where we keep our computers and all the travel brochures that have been sitting there for months. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at keyboards. The light in the office is a bit dim, but we’re used to it. Street No:1 always has people moving about, and we see the same faces every day. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big budget for decorations. Most of our furniture is old wood that’s seen a lot of use. We take pride in just being consistent. If someone comes in looking for a ticket, we help them out. If the printer jams, we fix it. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going. Lunch is usually a quick tiffin from home. The rainy season makes the street a bit messy, but we just put out a mat and keep going. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years now without much fuss. We aren't going anywhere, just staying right here in Chikkadpally doing what we know and helping out whoever walks through the door.
