Novotel(Accor Hotels)

Our spot is right there in Koramangala, specifically on the 80 Feet Road in the 4th Block area. Being at Novotel means dealing with a lot of noise and movement because Bangalore never really seems to get quiet, especially around the 5th Cross and 15th Main. We have been working out of this location for a while now, and the staff here mostly knows the regulars by their first names. It is a big building, but inside, it feels like any other workplace where the coffee machine is always running and someone is always looking for a misplaced key. The traffic outside can be pretty bad during the evening hours, which makes the lobby a waiting room for people trying to avoid the jams. We spend our days coordinating between different floors and making sure the guest lists are actually correct, which is harder than it sounds some days. There is always a lot of laundry to move and plates to clean. It is a busy life in this part of Karnataka, and we just try to keep up with the pace. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the Bangalore sun can get surprisingly hot through those big windows. Sometimes we grab lunch from the local spots nearby instead of eating in the cafeteria. It is just a regular hotel life with all the small stresses and busy moments you would expect. We are just people trying to keep things running smoothly.
