Nbq Bank (Dubai) Uae has a presence here right by Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a bank branch, especially being so close to such a historical landmark. The area gets a lot of tourists and locals walking around, so we see a lot of different faces throughout the day. Working near the fort means the surroundings are quite different from a typical city business district. It gets very hot during the summer months, and the dust from the roads often finds its way inside. We handle the usual banking tasks that people need help with, like accounts and transactions. It’s not a very big operation here, just a few of us making sure everything adds up at the end of the day. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and counting out notes. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions to the fort because they get lost. We don't mind, though. The pace of work depends on the day; sometimes it’s a mad rush and other times we’re just waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a straightforward job in a unique part of Hyderabad. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the books are balanced before we head home. It’s a long way from Dubai, but we’re here doing the work every day.
