Naseba

Naseba has a presence here in Hyderabad, India, and it’s a pretty interesting place to be. We aren't in one of those giant glass towers you see in the tech parks. Our setup is more modest and focused on getting the actual work done. Hyderabad is a city of contrast, and our office reflects that—it’s a mix of old school habits and new ways of doing business. We spend a lot of our time on research and connecting with people for different events and meetings. The office is usually filled with the sound of typing and people talking on their mobiles. We don't have a big HR department with a lot of rules; we just expect everyone to do their part and be decent to each other. During the afternoons, it gets quite warm, so we all tend to slow down for a bit and have some chai. It’s a very human way to work. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We find information, we talk to people, and we try to make things happen for the company. Sometimes the plans change at the last minute, and we have to scramble to fix things. That's just part of the deal. We enjoy being in Hyderabad because the food is great and the people are generally friendly. It’s a good city for a business like ours to keep its head down and work hard. Things aren't always perfect but we get it done.
