My Home Constructions is based out of a place in Valimedi, which is in the Palakurthi Mandal of Warangal district. The address is linked to Ch. Ashok, son of Ramulu, and it feels very much like a local family-run operation. We are out here in the 506222 area, which is quite a distance from the big city life of Hyderabad. It’s a rural setting, so things move a lot slower than they do in the urban centers. The office is more of a practical hub for our building projects in the surrounding villages and towns. You’ll often find stacks of site plans and old ledgers on the tables. Because we are in a village like Valimedi, everyone knows everyone else. People might just stop by to say hello or ask about a construction job. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building that serves as our home base. We deal with a lot of dust and the weather can be quite harsh out here in the open districts, but we’re used to it. It’s the kind of place where you sit on a plastic chair and drink tea while discussing the day's work. We don't use much technology beyond what's absolutely necessary. Most of our work is done out on the sites anyway. This spot is just where we keep the records and meet up before heading out to the fields.
