Maintanance

This is where Srinivasa Reddy works. My father’s name is Rambotla Reddy, and we belong here in Bodduvani Palem. That is in the Korisapadu mandal within the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. We don't have one of those big city offices with the glass walls and air conditioning. Our setup for Maintanance is much more traditional and based right here in the village. Life in this part of the district moves at a much slower pace than in the big cities like Hyderabad. We handle all kinds of maintenance work for the people in our local community. Everyone around here knows our family and they know where to find us if something needs fixing. If you are coming in from the main road, you can just ask anyone for the Reddy house and they will point you the right way. We don't use a lot of high-tech gadgets, just our hands, some basic tools, and a mobile phone. Most of our actual work happens out at different properties or in the fields. We spend a great deal of time working outside in the sun. The weather in Prakasam can be very harsh, especially during the peak of summer. We have lived in this village our entire lives. It is not a corporate company with a shiny logo; it is just us doing honest work. We work whenever a job comes up, so we don't really follow a strict schedule. It is a simple life here.
