Our place is in Balamrai, over at the Dr. Ambedhkar Society in Secunderabad. Lsg Sky Chefs is the name on the gate. We are involved with catering for the airlines. It’s a 24/7 kind of operation because planes don't stop flying. The building is quite functional. We have big kitchens and storage areas. It’s not like a regular office where everyone sits at a desk all day. Some of us are on our feet a lot. There’s a lot of steam, noise, and people moving crates around. Secunderabad is a good location for us. It’s a bit older than some parts of Hyderabad, but it has everything we need. We’ve been at this address for quite a while. The staff is a big mix of cooks, drivers, and office people. We don't really have time for corporate talk or long meetings. We just need to get the food ready and out to the airport on time. If we are late, it’s a big problem. So, the vibe is usually a bit rushed. We take our breaks when we can. The tea stall nearby is a popular spot for the drivers. It’s a hard-working environment. We aren't trying to win any awards for our decor. We just want to make sure the trays are full and the quality is okay. The night shift is probably the busiest, as we prep for the early morning departures.
