Lecturer

I work out of my house at H.No:4-1-239 in Aneesa Nagar, which is in Bodhan. It’s a quiet part of the Nizamabad district in Andhra Pradesh. My room is filled with books that I’ve collected over many years. There are stacks of paper on the floor and my desk is always covered in pens and notebooks. I spend most of my time reading and preparing notes for the classes. Students come by at different times of the day, and we sit around the big table to go over the lessons. Sometimes the neighborhood is noisy with kids playing outside or someone's dog barking, but once we start talking about the subjects, it’s easy to ignore the distractions. I don’t have any big staff or fancy equipment. It’s just me and the materials I use for teaching. I have an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly, which helps me keep track of the time so the sessions don’t run too long. The window stays open most of the year to let in some air, even if a bit of dust comes in with it. I spend my evenings grading the work that was turned in and making sure I have everything ready for the next day. It’s a lot of reading and writing, but that’s just how the work goes. I’ve lived in this house for a long time and everyone in Aneesa Nagar knows where to find me when they need help.
