Kfc Restuarents

Our place is in Barkathpura, right at the Sri Venkata Padmavathi Residency. It is unit 101. If you know Lingampally, you have probably walked past the Kfc Restuarents a dozen times. It is a lively neighborhood in Hyderabad. We spend most of our shift in the kitchen or behind the counter. The smell of fried chicken is everywhere, which is okay until you have been here for eight hours straight. It is a regular spot for people living in the apartments nearby. They just pop down when they do not feel like cooking dinner. We have a few tables, and it gets pretty crowded on Friday nights. The floor needs mopping constantly because of all the feet coming in and out. Sometimes the delivery guys are all lined up outside the door waiting for orders. It is not a quiet job. We are always busy with something, whether it is filling up the soda machine or cleaning trays. The building itself is easy to find once you are on the right street. We have got some regulars who come in every week and know us by name. It is just a local food joint doing its thing. No one here is wearing a suit. We wear our uniforms and try to keep up with the rush. It is a lot of fast-paced work, but we manage. Barkathpura keeps us on our toes. We just keep the fryers going and the doors open for anyone hungry. It is just life behind the counter.
