Jones Lang Lasalle Meghraj, Client- Microsoft

I’m a Facilities Executive for Jones Lang Lasalle Meghraj, and my main job is looking after the Microsoft campus in Gachibowli. It’s a massive area here in Hyderabad, and our office is right inside the Microsoft R&D India grounds. My day is basically one long walk across the campus. I have to check on the buildings, make sure the AC is working, and handle any repairs that come up. It’s a lot of physical work and coordination. The campus itself is quite impressive, but for me, it’s just my workplace. I spend a lot of time talking to the maintenance crews and the security guards. We don’t have a polished office of our own; we mostly work out of the service areas and the main halls. The address is quite a mouthful, but it just means we are at the heart of the Microsoft operations in Andhra Pradesh. It’s a busy environment with thousands of people coming in every day. My focus is entirely on the facilities and making sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. We don't have a mission or anything promotional to say. We just make sure the lights stay on and the place is clean for everyone else. It’s a practical, hands-on role that keeps me on my feet. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the size of the place, but we just take it one task at a time and keep moving.
