It might seem a bit unusual to have an office for Jet Airways India in a residential complex, but that’s where we are. It’s a quieter spot compared to the main airport hubs. We mostly deal with the administrative side of things here. There are a few of us working in this office, surrounded by files and computers. Khairtabad is a central area, so it’s easy for the staff to get to work. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, just a standard apartment block turned into workspace in some parts. We spend a lot of time on emails and coordinating with the bigger offices. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which isn't great when you're carrying boxes of documents. We don't have customers coming in off the street very often. It's more of a place where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens to keep things moving. We’ve been in this 500004 zip code area for quite a while now. It feels more like a small community than a corporate headquarters. We just do our daily tasks and then head home like everyone else in the city.
