Itc (Tabacco)

We operate out of Ishrath Villa in Noor Khan Bazar. It’s a house, number 22-1-643, and that’s where we handle the ITC tobacco business for this area. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad and the streets are usually crowded. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. It’s just a regular house where we’ve set up our desks and storage. We deal with a lot of local distributors and shops around here. Most of the day involves checking inventory and making sure the deliveries are going where they need to go. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have the fans running. We know the neighbors and the local chai wallah who comes by. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't use big words or fancy meetings. We just talk to the people we need to talk to and get the shipments sorted out. The villa has some character to it, even if it’s a bit old. We have stacks of boxes here and there and plenty of paperwork to file away. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when several trucks arrive at once, but we manage. We aren’t looking to impress anyone with the office. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the end of the day. That’s how we do things here in Noor Khan Bazar.
