Indo American Cancer Institute & Reserch Centre

The halls here are usually pretty quiet, which is how we like it, though you’ll always see staff moving between rooms or sitting at the research stations. It isn't a place filled with flashy decorations or modern art; it’s practical and built for the serious nature of what happens here. In the research wing, there are always charts to be updated and data to be looked at, often late into the evening. We don’t really have a corporate culture to speak of, just a group of people who show up and do what they are supposed to do for the community. The local weather in this part of the state can be a bit unpredictable, but the thick walls of the institute keep things steady inside. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the patients and the studies. It is a place where the work is the main thing, and everything else comes second. We try to keep things organized, even when the paperwork starts to pile up on the main desks.
