Indian Hotels Company Limited(Taj Group)

We are based in Hyderabad, specifically in the Anand Nagar area of Khairatabad. Our office is located in Renuka Apartment, inside flat B-108. Since it is a residential building, the whole place feels more like a home than a big, stiff corporate headquarters. Indian Hotels Company Limited, which is the Taj Group, has us working out of this flat to keep the administrative side of things going. It is a pretty busy part of the city, so there is almost always something happening right outside our windows. Inside, it is just a small group of us sitting at our desks. We deal with a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into running hotels, like paperwork and coordination. We have got files stacked up in various corners, and the phones never seem to stop ringing for very long. It gets a little bit cramped in here sometimes, but we have made it work for many years now. We are not the people you see in those fancy uniforms at the actual hotels; we are the ones in the background making sure the office side of things is sorted out. Khairatabad is a central enough spot, so it is pretty easy for all of us to get to work. We just focus on our daily tasks, one thing at a time. It is a steady job and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. We usually end up at the tea stall downstairs during our breaks.
