Indian Airlines

We are located over at 368 in Sector-18, Faridabad. This part of Haryana is quite industrial and busy, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the road. Indian Airlines has this spot for handling the local side of things. It is a basic building that has seen plenty of years. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and people talking about ticket bookings or flight changes. It’s not like being at the actual airport with all the excitement; it’s more about the paperwork and the behind-the-scenes stuff. We deal with a lot of people from the neighborhood who prefer coming in person rather than doing everything on a phone. The fans keep the air moving during the hot months, and we usually have a few newspapers lying around for people to read while they wait. It’s a very local feel for such a big name. We don't pretend to be something we are not. We just sit here in Sector-18 and try to answer questions as clearly as we can. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it’s quite slow. We take it as it comes. It is a very normal, honest kind of job. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a while now and we know the rhythms of the street outside pretty well.
