Indian Airlines Ltd

I started working at Indian Airlines Ltd back when things were a bit quieter in this part of Hyderabad. We are located right over in Padma Colony, just across from those Rutudhama Apartments. If you know the Shankermutt area, you probably walked past our door a dozen times. It’s not a big flashy corporate office. Inside, it's mostly just us sitting at desks, drinking tea, and trying to sort out travel plans for folks. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's just quiet enough to hear the traffic outside on the main road. Dealing with flights means things change fast. A plane gets delayed or someone loses a bag, and we are the ones who have to figure it out. We’ve been at this address, 1-8-702/94, for years now. People from the neighborhood come in just to say hello or ask about a flight to Delhi or Mumbai. It gets a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but we keep the fans going. It’s a job like any other, really. We make sure people get where they need to go. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we try to fix them before the day ends. It’s a lot of paperwork and looking at screens. We don't have fancy leather chairs or anything, just the usual office stuff. It’s home for us during the day. We just keep things moving as best as we can. Our days are long but we like the work.
