Our office is tucked away in Malkajgiri at H.No.21-133/3, right on the 3rd Cross in Uttam Nagar. It’s a bit of a quiet residential area compared to the main center of Hyderabad, but it keeps us busy enough. Being in property management means we're usually dealing with buildings and maintenance issues all day long. This part of the city, under the 500047 pin code, has changed quite a bit over the years. We started Il&Fs Property Management & Services Limited right from this spot. The house number can be a little tricky for people to find if they aren’t familiar with the cross streets in Uttam Nagar. We mostly deal with paperwork and talking to contractors or residents who have something that needs fixing. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on schedules. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around here a bit muddy, which makes it hard for our guys to get out to the different sites. We have a small team sitting here in the office. There isn't much to see, just some filing cabinets and old desks. We’ve got a small kettle for tea in the corner. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. We just focus on keeping the properties we look after in decent shape. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this neighborhood and the people who live around here.
