Iinter-Continental The Grand New-Delhi

We are over at 3352 Sector 29-D in Chandigarh. Dealing with a place like Iinter-Continental The Grand New-Delhi means there is always something to fix or a room to get ready for someone new. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially during the wedding season when everyone is rushing around. Most days, we are just making sure the front desk is covered and the lobby stays decent enough for people to sit in. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now. It is a large building with many floors, so there is always a bulb to change or a carpet that needs a deep vacuuming. People come and go at all hours. We try to keep up with the laundry and the kitchen orders without making too much of a fuss about it. It isn't some perfect setup, just a group of us working to keep the doors open and the guests fed. Chandigarh can be a very busy city, and our corner of Sector 29-D is no different from the rest of the noise. You see a lot of different faces passing through the front doors. We handle the paperwork, take the heavy bags, and answer the same questions about where the market is. It is regular work. Some days are slower than others, which is nice for a change of pace. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just show up, do the shift, and try to make sure everything stays in one piece.
