If you are looking for us, we are in the Alladi Building in New Bowenpally. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. This Icici branch is where we spend our days dealing with all sorts of banking things. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. People come in with their passbooks or to ask about how to open an account. The building itself is easy to spot once you get into the New Bowenpally area. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if we are short-staffed or if the systems are being slow. We try to keep things moving as much as we can. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops around, so it’s easy to grab a tea when things get quiet for a minute. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have a long commute, which is nice given the traffic in this city. We handle a lot of different requests every day, from simple cash stuff to more complicated things that require a lot of forms. It’s just a regular local bank branch where the staff knows many of the regulars by name. We don’t have any big corporate speeches here, just people doing their jobs at their desks.
