We work out of Kamlesh Sadan, which is located at Na 15/21 in the Anisabad area of Patna. It’s a residential-style building that we’ve turned into our workspace for Icici Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. Patna is a city where you have to be patient, especially with the traffic near the post office. Our day usually involves a lot of files and folders spread out over the desks. Insurance is one of those things that involves a lot of fine print, so we spend a lot of time explaining things to people who walk in. They come in with their documents and we sit down to go through everything. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We have our tea, we talk to the clients, and we try to get the forms filled out correctly. The building itself is quite familiar to people in the Anisabad neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when there’s a lot of activity on the street outside, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't a big flashy branch like you might find in a metro city. This is a local Patna office where we know the people and the way things work around here. It’s steady work. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a policy or a claim. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful in a normal, everyday way. That’s how we operate here at Kamlesh Sadan.
