This branch is located at 10-1-18/A/1, specifically Flat No 1 in the Shyam Nagar Colony over by Masab Tank in Hyderabad. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a bank because it is right in the middle of a residential colony. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for the local residents to just walk in and do their banking. We have the usual stuff you’d expect—a few teller windows, some desks for the managers, and a waiting area that isn't very large. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the retired folks come in to check their accounts. We spend a lot of time counting cash and stamping forms. The AC works most of the time, which is a relief during the Hyderabad summers. We all know each other pretty well in this office. We share snacks in the afternoon and talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. It doesn't feel like those giant, cold bank buildings downtown. It's more like a local service point. Sometimes the line gets long and people get a little impatient, but we just keep working through the pile. We don't have any big flashy posters. Most of our work is just handling the daily transactions and making sure the ledgers are correct at the end of the day. It’s a steady, regular job in a nice part of town.
