Hotel Tanishq

Our place is located over in Maruthi Nagar Colony at Plot Number 13. To get here, you have to follow Road Number 5 in Secunderabad 15. The house number is 24-253/6, which can be a bit confusing for some of the delivery drivers, but most people find us eventually. We have been here for a good bit of time. The lobby isn't very big, so when a large group comes in with their bags, it gets crowded quickly. We spend our mornings checking the guest list and making sure the laundry arrived from the cleaners. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so we tell people to use the stairs if they only have a small bag. The kitchen starts up early to get things ready, and you can usually smell the tea and spices by seven o'clock. We keep a register on the desk where everyone has to sign in. The pens always seem to go missing, so we have a few backups in the drawer. The area around here is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet at night compared to the main city roads. We have some regular guests who come every time they are in town for business, and they usually want the same rooms on the second floor. We just try to keep the floors clean and the water running hot for everyone. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and for the people who stay with us.
