If you are looking for us, we are situated at 7-1-65, right by the Hanuman Temple in the Daram Karan area of Ameerpet. Anyone who knows Hyderabad knows that Ameerpet is one of the busiest places you can find. There is always a crowd, and the energy is just constant. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of a spiritual vibe around the corner too. Hotel Ik London has been a part of this street for quite some time. We aren't trying to be a five-star luxury resort with gold-plated everything. We are just a local hotel where people stay when they have business in the city or are visiting family. The rooms are simple and the staff is just regular folks from the neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and making sure the laundry is done and the rooms are ready. The Daram Karan road can get pretty jammed up with autos and bikes, especially in the evenings. It is noisy, sure, but it feels alive. We see a lot of students and workers passing by every single day because of all the coaching centers nearby. It is a straightforward place to run. We don't have a lot of fancy talk; we just make sure the doors are open and the beds are ready for whoever needs a place to sleep tonight. It is a hard job but we like the different people we meet.
