Hotel Grandeur, Ameerpet

Banjara Village Colony is where we are located, at H. No. 2-9-76 / 7 in Secunderabad. It is a bit different from the hotels you see on the big main roads. We like it being here because it feels like a real part of the community. People stay with us when they have work in the Ameerpet area or if they are visiting relatives nearby. The hotel is a very basic building. We don't have a giant lobby or expensive statues. It is just a simple desk where we check you in and some chairs if you need to wait. We spend our days making sure the rooms are tidy and the kitchen is ready for the morning. Since it is a small place, we all end up doing a bit of everything. I might be working the front desk one hour and then checking the laundry the next. The colony is usually quiet, but you can hear the city waking up pretty early. We try to keep the place as clean as possible, though the Hyderabad dust is always a challenge. We don't have any big mission statements or promotional slogans. We just open the door every morning and try to be useful to our guests. It is an honest way to run a business. We have been in this spot for a while and we know many of the people who stay with us regularly. It is just us doing the best we can.
