Hotel Golkonda

You will find us at Masab Tank in Hyderabad. If you know the city at all, you know Masab Tank is a major junction where the traffic can get pretty crazy at almost any time of the day or night. The hotel sits right in the middle of all that noise and action. Working here means you are always seeing new faces coming through the doors with their heavy suitcases and different travel stories. It is not like those movies where everything is perfect and silent in a hotel. It is a busy, loud place with the sound of plates clinking in the kitchen and the hum of the elevators going up and down constantly. We spend our shifts checking people in, making sure the rooms are actually ready, and helping out whenever there is a problem with the plumbing or the lights. The lobby is a good place to sit and watch the world go by for a minute. We have staff who have been here for a very long time, and we all just sort of know what needs to be done without anyone having to say it. It is a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with all sorts of requests from guests. We do not use any of those big marketing words to describe what we do here. We are just a hotel in a very busy part of Hyderabad. We try to keep the place clean and the guests comfortable.
