Hotel Central Park

Our hotel is tucked away in the A.P.H.B. Colony over in Gachibowli, specifically Phase 4 at Mig 119. If you know Hyderabad, you know how much this area has changed lately with all the new buildings and offices popping up everywhere. We started this place back when things were a bit quieter. It’s not one of those massive five-star spots you see near the main roads, but we have enough rooms to keep us busy. I handle a lot of the check-ins myself, and sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing during the wedding season. People come here because it’s a bit more tucked back from the main noise. The rooms are basic but we try to keep the linens clean and make sure the fans are working right before someone arrives. Last month we had a small leak in the hallway, so we spent a few days painting and fixing that up. My sister manages the kitchen mostly, making sure there is enough tea and breakfast for everyone in the mornings. It’s a lot of work running a place like this, especially when the electricity goes out and we have to switch over the generators. We just live upstairs, so we are pretty much always around if someone needs a spare key or an extra pillow late at night. It is just how we do things in our little corner of the colony.
