Hotel Anmol Continental

We are right here in Hyderabad, running Hotel Anmol Continental. It’s a city that never really stops, and being in the hotel business means we don’t really stop either. There is always a guest arriving early or someone checking out late. The lobby is the heart of the place, where you hear the constant hum of the air conditioning and people chatting about their plans for the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to fix a leaky tap in one of the rooms. It’s not the glamorous life people think it is, but it’s honest work. The staff here has been together for a while, so we kind of know what everyone is thinking without having to say much. We have a kitchen that stays busy, and the smell of spices usually drifts through the hallways around lunchtime. It’s just one of those places where things are always moving. We don’t have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do; we just provide rooms and make sure people have what they need for the night. Hyderabad is a big place, and we are just one spot where travelers can sit down and take a break. Sometimes the elevators act up or a light bulb goes out, but we just fix it and keep going. That’s just how it is running a hotel in this city.
