We run our inn right here in Hyderabad. It’s a city that never really stops moving, so there is always something going on at the front desk. Being in the hospitality business means we don’t really have a typical nine-to-five schedule. Someone is always here, whether it’s checking in a guest who arrived on a late flight or making sure the rooms are clean and ready for the next day. The building itself has been around for a while, and we try to keep it tidy and comfortable without making it look like those overpriced luxury hotels. We’re just a regular place to stay for people visiting the city. The staff is local, and we know Hyderabad well, so we can usually tell people where to find a good meal or how to avoid the worst of the traffic. We don't have a big corporate office; the management happens right there behind the counter or in a small room in the back. It’s a lot of hard work, honestly. Between the laundry, the maintenance, and talking to guests, there isn’t much time for anything else. We don’t put out glossy brochures with fake photos. What you see when you walk in is what you get. It’s an honest business where we try to make sure people have a decent, quiet place to sleep while they are in town. It’s busy and sometimes a bit chaotic, but it is what we do.
