Our office is out in Bhagirathi Nagar near the Sadhubella area in Haridwar. Being in Uttarakhand, the air feels a bit different here, especially in the mornings when it is still cool. We are registered as Himalayam Healing Pvt.Ltd, and we operate out of this space near the post office. It is not a very busy street, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves think. The building itself is nothing fancy, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain out during the monsoon months. We spend a lot of time dealing with paperwork and talking to people who come by looking for advice or just to see what we do. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always dusting off the tables. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a few glass tumblers for guests. The walk to the main road takes a few minutes, and sometimes you see monkeys jumping on the roofs nearby. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the local area well. Most of the time, the power stays on, but we keep some candles and a torch handy just in case the lines go down. It is a simple setup, but it suits the kind of work we are doing in this part of town.
