We are located in Bhabani Nagar-1, which is quite close to the Gate Bazar in Berhampur. It is a very lively part of the Ganjam district to be in. Aditya Mahapatra is the one running the show here, following in the footsteps of his father, Dibakar. The office itself is nothing special to look at. It is just a basic building in a regular neighborhood. Because we are so close to the bazar, you can always hear the sounds of the market, like people shouting and the horns of the rickshaws. We actually like the noise because it makes us feel connected to the town. We do not have any fancy office furniture or glass partitions. We just have a few sturdy wooden desks and some old metal cabinets where we keep our records. Most of our work is done on a couple of laptops. We get our tea from the small stall just around the corner, and the guy there knows exactly how we like it. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just take a break or work by the light from the windows. We do not have a big sign outside, so people usually find us by asking around the neighborhood. It is a very local way of doing things. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay productive in our own quiet way. It is a simple life and a simple business for us.
