Genpact

Our Genpact branch is located at 25-40/7 East Anand Bagh in the Malkajgiri part of Hyderabad. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and people moving around all day. The building is pretty easy to find once you get into the East Anand Bagh area. We have got several floors of people working on different projects. It is mostly data stuff and customer calls. The stairs are a bit steep but most people use the lift anyway. We have a routine here where everyone arrives around the same time and the lobby gets a bit crowded. The furniture is a bit worn out in places but it does the job. We do not have any fancy art on the walls or anything like that, just some charts and schedules. Lunchtime is the best part of the day because we all go out to the local stalls or eat together in the break room. It gets pretty noisy when everyone starts talking at once. We are just a bunch of regular people working hard to get through the day's tasks. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a big thump. It is just how it is here. Malkajgiri is a decent place to work, even if the traffic during peak hours is a total mess. We just focus on our screens and try to finish our queues before the sun goes down and we head home.
