Genpact (G.E.)

So, we are based out of Hazra Road in Kolkata. It’s a busy spot, 44/4A to be exact. If you know the 700019 area, you know how much traffic there is outside our doors. We’ve been operating here for a good bit now. Most of the staff here just gets on with their work. It’s an office, basically. Lots of computers and people on phones. Sometimes the AC is a bit too cold, so everyone wears sweaters even when it's boiling outside on the street. We get tea from the vendors nearby during breaks. Hazra Road is always full of life, with trams and cars honking all day. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we do our thing. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital stuff. The building is an older one, typical of this part of Kolkata. You walk up and see the name Genpact (G.E.) and you know you’re in the right place. We don’t have a big fancy cafe inside, just some tables where people eat their tiffin. It’s practical. People come in early, leave late sometimes. It’s just the way things are here. We aren't trying to be anything other than a working office in a busy city. If you're looking for us, look for the big numbers on Hazra Road. It's easy to find if you aren't stuck in traffic for too long. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It's a lot of typing and looking at screens. We just take our time and get the work finished.
