We are based in Vijayawada, specifically in the Ganga Block of Dolphin Estate in Kanuru. Our office is Door 104 on the first floor. It’s a busy little area, and being in a marine business means we deal with a lot of technical stuff. We call ourselves Gee Kay Marine Pvt Ltd. The office isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with desks, some old maps, and folders full of shipping documents. It can get very hot here in Kanuru, so the AC is usually running full blast if the power is on. We spend our time coordinating things and talking to suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of back and forth on the phone and checking schedules. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. People come here when they have business to discuss or papers to sign. The building is a bit older, and the elevator sometimes acts up, so we end up taking the stairs to the first floor. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the other people in the estate. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just focus on making sure the marine parts and services get handled correctly. It’s a lot of hard work and staying organized, but it keeps us busy throughout the year. We just want to get the shipping details right and keep our records in order.
