F Bar & Lounge, The Ftv'S Venture

You’ll find F Bar & Lounge tucked away in Khairtabad, specifically in Padmavati Nagar. The building number is 6-3-595/51. It’s a spot in Hyderabad that gets pretty lively, especially as the sun starts to go down. We’ve been running this place as part of the Ftv venture for a while now. It’s got a certain look to it, but at the end of the day, it’s a place where people come to sit and have a drink. We spend a lot of our time cleaning glasses and making sure the seating is arranged right. The music is a big part of the vibe here, so we’re always fiddling with the sound system. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a bulb goes out or we run out of a certain snack. We just fix it and keep going. The staff is a mix of younger folks and some who have been in the industry for years. We see all kinds of people walk through the door. Some stay for one drink, others stay all night. It’s a lot of work keeping the bar stocked and the lounge looking decent. We don’t go in for big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors and let the night happen. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve become a bit of a fixture here in the 500 004 area. We usually start setting up around four in the afternoon.
