This office is set up over in Musheerabad, specifically at 1-4-882/2 in Mahatmanagar. We share the space with B.Ramnarsaiah, and it’s a pretty functional spot without any extra frills. Being part of the emergency management and research stuff, things can get pretty intense here. You’ll usually hear the phones ringing constantly—we actually have two numbers, the landline and the mobile one ending in 9328, just in case one of them stops working. It’s not a quiet place. People are always coming in and out, checking records or updating information about the 108 services. We aren't trying to be fancy; we just need a roof over our heads and some desks to keep everything organized. The room can get a bit hot in the Hyderabad summer, so we keep the fans going full blast. Most of us have been working in this field for a long time, so we know the city roads pretty well. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything like that because the work speaks for itself. It’s more about being ready when the phone rings. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. It’s a basic office in a busy part of town, and we just focus on keeping the systems running so the emergency help gets to where it’s supposed to go. That's pretty much our daily life here, and we just keep at it.
