Our office for Dst World Wide Services is in Maruthi Nagar, Palasa. For those who do not know, Palasa is in the Srikakulam district, way up in the corner of Andhra Pradesh. The office is run by Eswararao, who is Narayana Rao’s son. It is a local setup through and through. We deal with various services, mostly using the computers we have set up. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much. You can smell the cashew processing units nearby when the wind blows the right way because that is what Palasa is famous for. Life moves a bit slower here than in the big cities like Hyderabad or Vizag. We start our day early before the heat gets too bad in the summer. The address is 532221, if you are sending mail our way. It is not a huge skyscraper or anything like that. It is just a ground-floor place with a few rooms and some desks. Most of us walk to work or come on a scooty. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers on the street. If the power goes out, we just take a break and sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is a straightforward way to earn a living and we don't really have a marketing team. We just do the work that comes in and try to stay organized. Maruthi Nagar is a decent place to be based.
