Customer Service Officer

I work out of this small place at H.No 23-1-899/1 in Bibi Bazar. If you know the Charminar area in Hyderabad, you know how crowded it gets around here. It is a lot of noise and people moving about constantly. My title is Customer Service Officer, but really, I just sit at my desk and handle whatever comes through the door or over the phone. Moghal Pura is an old neighborhood and it feels like it. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it serves the purpose for what we do. Most of my day is spent looking at files or trying to help people figure out their problems with the services they’re using. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. Sometimes it’s quiet, and I just catch up on writing notes, but usually, there is someone asking questions. I don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. I’ve lived in this city a long time, so I’m used to the pace of life here. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, do the tasks that are piled up, and head home when the sun goes down. That is how it is. It's just a job, but we try to do it right for the local folks.
