City Travels

You can find us over at the E2 Hostel area near Osmania University. It’s a small operation where we mostly handle travel arrangements and various bookings for people. The phone rings a lot throughout the day with people asking about bus timings or car rentals for the weekend. We keep a simple notebook handy to write down all the names and details so we don't forget anything important. Working near the university means we see a lot of students and staff members looking for a way to get back home or go on a short trip. It isn't a huge office with a lot of staff but it works for what we need to do. We spend most of our day talking to drivers and making sure the vehicles are cleaned and ready to go for the next passenger. Sometimes there’s a long delay with the heavy traffic in Hyderabad and we have to spend time explaining that to the customers who are waiting. It can be a bit stressful when everyone is in a big hurry but we just try to stay calm and handle it. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we know the city routes pretty well. We don't use any fancy computer systems, just a regular mobile phone and some notebooks. If you need to find us we’re right there in the O.U. campus area. We just try to get people from one place to another without too much trouble.
