We are tucked away in Flat 201 of the Sapthigri Apartments. This is over in Padmarao Nagar, which is a fairly old and settled part of Secounderabad. Being in an apartment building means we share the space with a lot of families. You can often hear children playing in the hallways or someone cooking something that smells really good next door. It’s not your typical commercial office block, which suits us just fine. Secounderabad has its own pace, a bit different from the main city of Hyderabad. Padmarao Nagar specifically has these leafy streets and a lot of history. We chose this flat because it’s a decent size for what we do at Carnival Cruise Line Us. It’s got enough room for our desks and the paperwork we have to file. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs to the second floor, which is good exercise anyway. People who live in Sapthigri are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Just a small nameplate maybe. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, though it gets a bit noisy when the school bus drops kids off nearby. It’s just where we are and what we do in this corner of Secounderabad.
