Carlson Wagonlit

Our office for Carlson Wagonlit is tucked away in Port Blair, specifically over at M.A. Road in Phoenix Bay. We share some space with Excel Electronics, so that is usually how people find us if they are walking by. Being in the Andaman Islands makes the travel business feel a bit different than it would on the mainland. Things move a little slower here and we have to deal with the local weather and the ferry schedules quite often. We help people figure out their trips and get their tickets sorted without too much fuss. The office is small and simple, just a couple of desks and some maps on the wall. We don't have a big team, but we know the area well and we know how to get things done in this part of the world. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones cut out, but that is just how life is on the island. We don't try to act like a giant travel agency with glossy brochures for everything. We just talk to the people who come in and try to help them get where they need to go. Phoenix Bay is a busy spot with boats and people everywhere, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been at this address for a while and we like being part of the local community here in Port Blair, helping travelers navigate the islands.
