Captain

This business, Captain, is run by B. Pradeep Babu. My father is B. Venkateswara Rao, and we operate out of our place in Ashok Nagar, Vijayawada. The door number is 9-115. It’s basically a family-run setup. We’ve been in this part of Andhra Pradesh for a long time. There isn't a lot of fancy equipment or a big corporate office. We just work out of the space we have. Most of our days are spent talking to local people and handling whatever needs to be done for the business. Vijayawada can get really hot, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning. We don’t really use big words or have a mission statement. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the end of the day. People around Ashok Nagar know us by name. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by and talk. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of orders, but we always figure it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like being our own bosses and helping out the folks who come to us. It’s a simple life here. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being polished or perfect. It's just us working and keeping the shop going. We keep our doors open and just get through the daily pile of work.
