B.J.N. Hotels, Angeethi Restaurant

Angeethi Restaurant is inside the Hotel Museum Inn. We’re located on Museum Road, just off M.G. Road in Bangalore -1. It’s a prime spot, but the street itself is actually a bit quieter than the main road. B.J.N. Hotels runs the place, but we just think of it as our local restaurant. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The interior has that old-school feel, with some worn-in furniture and a lot of history. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen getting things ready for the evening crowd. Bangalore is a fast-moving city, but inside these walls, things feel a little slower. The address is easy to find if you know where the museum is. We get a mix of regulars and people who just happen to be walking by. It’s not one of those modern, sterile places. It’s got a bit of grit to it, which we like. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up, or we run out of a specific ingredient, but we always figure it out. The staff is like a small family. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s a practical, honest place to get a meal. No frills, just good work and a bit of conversation. We’re just happy to be part of the Museum Road scene. The old wooden floors occasionally creak when it is quiet.
