Out here in West Godavari, things move a bit slower than the big cities. We are located in Gowrishankara Puram, which is under the T.Narasapuram Mandal. We don't have a big fancy building. It’s just a simple office where we handle the local banking needs. Most of the people who come in are farmers or local workers from the village. We know most of them by their first names. It’s not about corporate policies here, it’s about helping a neighbor with their account or some paperwork. The heat can be quite a lot during the day, so we keep the fans going constantly. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been here for a while. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we work. Sometimes the transport to the main town takes a long time, so we just stay put. It’s a peaceful way to work, honestly. No one is in a huge rush. We take our time to make sure things are done right. We don't need any big slogans or advertisements. People in the village know where the bank is. That's enough for us.
