We are based out of an APHB Colony house in Moula-Ali, specifically at EWSH 64. It is an older part of Hyderabad and the neighborhood has a very lived-in, comfortable feel to it. Our office is basically a converted residential space, so it doesn't have that cold, corporate vibe you find in the new glass buildings downtown. We have desks set up in what used to be living areas, and the shelves are packed with flight manuals, logs, and old records. The phone lines stay busy with people asking about flight timings or trying to change their travel dates. It is a lot of administrative stuff, really. We spend our hours tracking schedules and making sure the paperwork for the airline operations is all in order. Since we are in a colony, we see the same neighbors every day and know the local rhythm of the streets. The walls have a few scuff marks and the ceiling fan wobbles a little when it is on the highest speed. It is a practical place where we just focus on getting the tasks done. Sometimes the weather in AP gets really rough and we have to deal with the fallout of delayed flights and angry calls. We just take it one day at a time, keeping the files updated and making sure the office stays organized enough to function. It is a lot of paper and phone calls, but we get through it.
