Air Ticketing

We started working out of Q.No.484/D here in P.V. Colony. It is a quiet spot in Manugur, mostly just families living around here. We do the air ticketing work from this space, which is basically a home office. My father, Nageswarrao, is well known in the neighborhood. People just walk in when they need to go somewhere or have a question about a flight. The Khammam heat is no joke in the summer, so we keep the ceiling fan on high all day long. Most mornings start with checking the old computer for flight updates and price changes. It’s not a big fancy office with glass doors or a receptionist. Just a desk and some plastic chairs where you can sit while we look up the prices on the screen for you. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the weather, but we eventually get things done. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s simple and practical. We handle the bookings and print out the papers right there for you to take. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the colony signs and it is easy to find. We don't have a big neon sign outside, but everyone knows which house it is. We spend most of our time staring at screens and talking to people on the phone. It is regular work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just make sure the names are right.
