This office is located at 13-3-603/4 in Venkateshwara Nagar, which is right in the Puranapool area of Hyderabad. It is an old part of the city, and you can feel it when you walk through the streets. The building itself has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in a few spots. We handle various tasks here, mostly related to the local side of the airline’s operations. It isn't a shiny ticket counter like you find at the airport. It’s more of a place where we deal with the nitty-gritty of the daily job. There are old wooden desks and a lot of ceiling fans spinning to keep the heat away. The traffic in Puranapool is always heavy, so there is a constant sound of horns and engines coming through the windows. We have a small crew here. We have worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits quite well. We take our tea together at the small shop around the corner. Sometimes the computers are a bit temperamental, and we have to wait for the IT person to come over. We don't have a big fancy lobby for visitors. Most people who come here are looking for specific help with their documents or have some local business to settle. It is a simple, honest workplace that doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it is. We just focus on getting our daily lists finished and going home.
