This place is located in Dhone, which is in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The office is actually a house, H.No: 8-61, in Srinivas Nagar, Kothapeta. It’s the home of Narayana Setty’s son. Being in a small town like Dhone, things move at a bit of a slower pace compared to the big cities. The air is often dry and dusty, and it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. We have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving inside the rooms. It’s not a formal office building by any means; it’s a residential setup where we handle our daily tasks and paperwork. Most of the people who come by are locals from the district. We spend a lot of time sitting on the chairs in the main room, going through documents or talking to people who stop in. There’s a small garden area in the front that’s mostly just dry dirt and a few hardy plants that survive the heat. The road outside isn’t paved perfectly, so you get a bit of a bumpy ride if you’re coming in on a bike. It’s a very straightforward environment where we don’t worry about appearances much. We just focus on whatever needs to be handled that day and try to stay cool while doing it. It feels like a very normal part of the neighborhood where everyone knows everyone.
