Goofys Chicken Shack Private Limited

If you know GT Road in Bally, you know how loud it gets with all the buses and trucks going past. Our shack is at number 156, right near LP 76/2. It is a small place but we keep the fryers going for a good part of the day. The smell of chicken is always stuck to my clothes when I go home. It’s a simple spot with some basic counters and stools for people to sit if they want to. We don’t have fancy decorations, just some old posters and a clock that’s five minutes fast. Most of our day is spent prepping the meat and making sure the flour mix is ready. The heat from the kitchen can be quite something in the middle of a Howrah afternoon. We have a few regular guys who come in every evening after work and we usually know what they want before they even say it. Sometimes we run out of certain items early and have to explain it to disappointed customers, but that’s just how it goes when you’re small. The floor gets a bit greasy despite us mopping it twice a day, it’s just the nature of the work. We are just local people serving the neighborhood and trying to keep the bills paid. It’s busy and loud, but it’s our spot on the road and we’ve gotten used to the constant honking outside.
